Dear Padgett House Visitor, I would like to personally thank you for your interest in The Padgett House, Inc. We welcome individuals, business, and their affiliations to become members of our growing organization. Membership types and descriptions are as follows. Board Members Board Members can only be invited to participate in the organization by another active Board Member. Once you accept the invitation, an Officer will contact you with further details. Please note that Board Members are expected to actively participate in the planning and growth of the organization. At this time, Board Members are not required to pay dues, but this will be a future requirement. Funding Members Funding Members partner with The Padgett House, Inc. by making monetary donations toward the overall growth of the organization. Donation packages consist of the following : Bronze, Gold, and Platinum. Funding Members do not have to be existing Board Members. Please submit your contact information and which package you are interested in on our 'Contact Us' page and an Officer will contact you shortly. Hi! I am a Human Services graduate from Notre Dame de Namur University and reside in California's Bay Area. My contributions to Padgett House are focused on the area of Development. Presently, I am working to secure grants for the Transitional Home program and generally helping out as needed. I have a professional writing background in the high-tech sector and experience with previous grant writing efforts at various non-proft organizations.

I have an extensive background in the Legal field as a Litigation Specialist Paralegal, also in the Medical field as a former Paramedic and business management. I served on our Village's Council for six years and wrote and obtained two grants totaling $300,000.

A very important organization that deals with an issue that is not heard about until it's too late to help those victims.

Hopefully Grant Money to help the Padgett House to assist those victims of domestic violence regain control of their lives and to expand their services. |

I am Akilah, a full-time freelance writer, author, professional blogger, and business owner. I am honored to have found The Padgett House, Inc. and welcome the opportunity to serve as Online Community Manager for 2010 and beyond. My job is to utilize the top social media networks, (eg. As part owner of Love4LifeCoach, I am responsible for assisting individuals enhance the skills for independent functioning in their professional and personal lives. Promote self-awareness, self-love, self-esteem, and self-sacrificing attitude that enable individuals to live balanced life. My life works are befitting for this organization.
I pride myself in being blessed to be born a woman. As a woman, I feel as though God gave me special powers that are immeasurable. This gift is not to be taken lightly; therefore the focal point of my life is to motivate women to use what God gave us.
